Lake Manyara/Serengeti/Ngorongoro/Tarangire Camping Safari
Visit Tanzania largest and most famous national park with the
wildebeest migration expected in December and May, Tree climbing
lions and birdlife in manyara and finally a tour to the worlds most
visited destination (Ngorongoro) famous for high wildlife
concentration and breath taking sceneries.
Day 1: Arusha - Lake Manyara National park
Pick up from your hotel at 0800 hrs and drive to Lake Manyara
National park to arrive in good time for lunch at Lake Manyara
campsite . Proceed for afternoon game drives . Dinner and overnight
Lake Manyara Jambo Campsite
Day 2: Serengeti National park
Early morning game drives then return to the camp for breakfast
.Depart the camp and proceed Serengeti passing through Olduvai
Gorge, the archeological site of the Leakey family. Meals and
overnight at Seronera campsite
Day 3: Serengeti National park
A full day with morning and afternoon game drives to explore the
plains, Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Seronera campsite
Serengeti is easily Tanzania’s most famous national park, and it’s
also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometres of protected area that
borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game ParkIt is the Migration for which
Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and
about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the
southern plains for the short rains every October and November, and
then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and
June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought,
gorge or crocodile infested river can hold them back. The Wildebeest
travel through a variety of parks, reserves and protected areas and
through a variety of habitat. Join us to explore the different forms
of vegetation and landscapes of the Serengeti ecosystem and meet
some of their most fascinating inhabitants.
Day 4: Ngorongoro conservation area
Breakfast at leisure then view game as you drive to Ngorongoro
conservation area for overnight stay at Ngorongoro Simba campsite
Day 5: Ngorongoro crater - Tarangire National park
After early morning breakfast leave with picnic lunch for a full day
crater tour. You will be taken 2000ft down the crater by a 4wheel
drive vehicle, explore the crater before ascending and proceeding to
a campsite for dinner and overnight stay
The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th
Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main
drawcard for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class
attraction. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is home of
Ngorongoro Crater. It was formed some 2.5 million years ago from a
volcanic mountain sinking due to inactivity, and was initially
thought to be higher than Tanzania’s famous Kilimanjaro. The crater
has evolved into a unique and integral part of Tanzania’s
eco-system. The crater is actually a caldera, measures 22.5 km’s
across and the rim walls stand 600m high. Views from within and from
the rim are breathtaking (as can be seen from the picture). The
crater houses 30,000 animals and a large variety of birds, which
rarely move from the area due to the availability of water through
wet and dry seasons
Day 6 Tarangire National park - Arusha
Early breakfast then proceed for morning game drives at Tarangire
National park - packed lunches enroute to arrive Arusha by 1600 hrs
where the safari ends

e Manyara National park is serene and beautiful with main
attractions of a rich bird life, tree-climbing lions, its elephants,
and hippos that you can see at closer range than most other places.
Lake Manyara is an alkaline lake and at certain times of the year
hosts thousands of flamingos and a diversity of other bird life.
Although it is one of the smallest parks, its vegetation is so
diverse enabling it to host a variety of wildlife habitats.
Day 02: Lake Manyara - Serengeti
After breakfast depart for Serengeti passing through Olduvai Gorge
the archeological site of Leakey’s family. Meals and overnight at
Seronera Public campsite.
Day 03: Serengeti Full day

Day 04: Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast depart for Ngorongoro, one of the natural wonders of
the world as you view game proceed Meals and overnight at Ngorongoro
Simba Public Campsite.
Day 05: Ngorongoro Crater
Early morning breakfast then descend to the crater with picnic lunch
for a full day crater tour, you will be taken 2000ft down the crater
by a 4wheel drive vehicle. Explore the crater before ascending back
to the Ngorongoro Simba Public/Kudu campsite for dinner and
overnight.
The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s biggest whole volcanic caldera
at 8300 sq km and is arguably the most stunning arena. It is
frequently described as one of the wonders of the world, not only
because of its geological magnificence, but also because it serves
as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s largest
populations of large mammals. Ngorongoro and other freestanding
mountains are volcanic in origin, formed during the fracturing
process that created the Rift valley 15 to 20 million years ago.
When it peaked in size 3 million years ago it was a similar height
to Mt. Kilimanjaro today.
Day 06: Ngorongoro - Tarangire
Breakfast then drive to Tarangire national park . Afternoon game
drives followed by dinner and overnight stay at Tarangire Campsite.
This National Park, gazetted in 1970, is 118km away from Arusha
town, which covers an area off 2600sq km that's about 1600 miles and
derivers its name from the Tarangire River that flows through the
center of the park. The river flows from south to north/northwest
and empties its water in Lake Burungi. An exceptional collection of
"Acacia tortilis" and baobab trees ahs become synonymous with the
name Tarangire National Park. The best time to visit Tarangire
National Park to view the wildlife is in dry season, from
June-October.
Day 07: Tarangire - Arusha
Pre breakfast game drives then return to the camp for breakfast -
drive to Arusha town to arrive by 1200 hrs where the safari ends.
